FP&A Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, global environment and is eager to make an impact!
This role provides an exciting opportunity to apply your deep financial and business knowledge in a dynamic environment and to drive the performance of Swiss Re's Property & Casualty (P&C) business segment. As the FP&A Finance Manager, you will partner with market unit leadership to provide financial insights, guide decision-making, and support strategic initiatives.
You will own the annual planning process, quarterly projections, financial analysis and performance measurement, all helping to drive business decisions. You will also lead the assessment of transactions for your area of responsibility and will lead or contribute to projects and ad hoc topics across the broader Markets FP&A team.
About the team
The Markets FP&A team plays a pivotal role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making for Swiss Re's Property & Casualty (P&C) business. We act as trusted finance partners to market unit heads across all regions, providing actionable insights and robust financial analysis to guide strategic decision making and hold market units accountable.
Our team operates as a global network with strong collaborative partnerships between colleagues in different locations, including dedicated analytical support from our Bangalore team. About you

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;

Significant experience in financial planning, analysis, or a similar discipline;

Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex financial data, whilst applying business-driven judgement;

Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills;

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results;

Good Knowledge of P&C (Re)insurance business and its key drivers of financial performance; and
-
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Deep understanding of IFRS 17 reporting is considered an advantage
