HR Advisor ANZ

About the Role

 

As a HR Advisor, you'll be at the heart of our people operations, providing expert guidance and support to both employees and leaders. You'll help create and implement HR initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with business leaders to understand organisational needs and deliver tailored HR solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation to managers and employees.
  • Manage employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism, finding balanced solutions for complex situations.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding processes for the allocated business units, to attract and integrate top talent into the organisation.
  • Enable performance management activities including goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
  • Implement engagement initiatives that enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction
  • Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and recommend improvements to HR programs
  • Coordinate learning and development opportunities that support employee growth and organisational capabilities
  • Contribute to HR projects that enhance our people processes and employee experience.

Working closely with leaders across the organisation, the team develops and implements HR initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and business results. About You 

 

You're a people-focused professional who combines HR expertise with business acumen. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are known for your ability to build strong relationships at all levels. With your excellent communication skills and problem-solving mindset, you can navigate complex situations while maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR generalist or advisory roles
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation (preferred) and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR policy implementation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels

 

These are additional nice to haves:

 

  • AHRI certification or working towards it
  • Experience with HRIS systems and HR analytics
  • Change management experience or certification
  • Experience in a similar industry or multinational organisation
  • Project management skills with the ability to drive HR initiatives
