About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Senior/Business Analyst to become part of a project to implement legislative and regulatory changes.

The role will involve working very closely with a highly diverse and skilled team, including (but not limited to) subject matter experts across Risk, Compliance/Legal and Human Resources in an agile nature to support the successful delivery of the Program.

You will work with these areas to:


  1. Document and deliver concise end to end business impact assessments;
  2. Map out the processes/systems/strategy/product/policy changes vital to meet the new regulatory/legislative requirements;
  3. Provide a variety of business analytical services to develop Business Requirements/Assessments, process maps, option analysis, etc;
  4. Prioritise and deliver the changes in collaboration with the Program and Project Managers; and
  5. Proactively identify dependencies, risks and issues for the Program, and handle dependencies, risks or issues allocated to them.


About the Team


Asia Strategy and Operations is a team of out of the box problem solvers, who are responsible for a wide and diverse range of topics, including Australia & New Zealand branch operations, strategy formulation/execution and project management. We provide a solid platform for the success of the Asia Region, by facilitating connections across functions, teams and initiatives.


About You


You will have an inquisitive mind, be proactive and can adapt to change in situations enabling you to be successful in this exciting opportunity.


  • You have a minimum of 5 years as a Business Analyst/Product Manager/Claims Manager in the insurance industry with Compliance and regulatory experience within the financial services sector;
  • Experience working in the Life insurance or reinsurance industry is preferred but not essential;
  • Strong skill of managing expectations and deadlines in face of complexity, conflicting pressure and ambiguous circumstances;
  • Alongside the Program Manager, ability to build and lead project plans and risk, issues and project dependencies;
  • Strong business engagement and partner leadership skills with excellent level of written and verbal communication
