About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to become a valued member of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Finance and Risk Management team. The primary focus is providing support to Climate Related Disclosure programs. You will work closely with Legal & Compliance and Swiss Re's Partners to develop compliant and transparent reporting of climate-related disclosures in ANZ.
Your main responsibilities will include, however, are not limited to:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to influence, develop and implement climate change disclosure strategies and initiatives in line with global reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB);

Collecting, validating and analysing relevant climate-related data from various internal and external sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities;

Preparing accurate and timely reports, presentations, and documentation on climate change disclosure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards;

Engaging with internal customers, including Risk Management, Finance, and Group Sustainability teams, to gather information and align climate-related reporting efforts with overall Sustainability Strategy; and

Contributing to industry associations, and regulatory bodies to stay updated on best practices, industry trends, and regulatory changes related to climate change disclosure.
About the Team
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and working closely with Risk Management leaders and other specialists, this role is part of a dynamic Finance team that works collaboratively and has a strong team spirit.

About You

Experience as a Business Analyst or similar, preferably in the Financial Services or Insurance industry;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;

Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and within a team environment; and

You enjoy team collaboration and contributing to the broader team on local and global business initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field;

Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and reporting requirements pertaining to climate change disclosure, particularly in ANZ;

Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB) and their application in climate change disclosure;

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyse complex data sets related to climate change;

Proficient understanding of quantitative analysis;

In-depth knowledge of climate change-related risks, opportunities, and their financial implications; and

Passion for sustainability and commitment to driving positive change in the insurance industry.
