About the Role
The position will entail originating, evaluating, and underwriting facultative business within your assigned portfolios.
Main activities:
- Assess a wide range of risk types with your experience and by applying innovative models.
- Foster client and broker relationships and develop new opportunities with prospective clients.
- Collaborate with client managers, market underwriters and treaty underwriters in a cross-functional team.

About You
You are an open-minded, trustworthy, and enthusiastic teammate who can work independently, deal with different complex multi-disciplinary projects simultaneously, take ownership for making decisions and help others out where and when it is vital. As a salesperson and dealmaker, you are confident dealing with ambiguous situations, working under pressure and adapting to a changing environment with the required flexibility and positivity.
- You hold a university degree or equivalent
- You have at least five years' experience in Casualty underwriting (insurance or reinsurance) or in the facultative broker business, preferably in a market in Europe
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian & English, any additional language would be a plus
