Are you passionate about turning data and AI into decisions that matter? Do you thrive at the intersection of business, analytics, and product development? If so, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of Life & Health Re through innovative analytical products that drive real operational impact.
About the Role
As an Analytics Product Expert, you will be at the heart of a mission to make data and AI work harder for the business. You will bridge the gap between Life & Health Re's operational teams and product delivery, ensuring that analytical products are not just built — but adopted, valued, and embedded into everyday decision-making. From shaping product roadmaps to facilitating stakeholder workshops, your work will directly influence how Swiss Re uses analytics and AI to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
-
Partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand operational challenges, question existing ways of working, and translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, user journeys, and analytical use cases
-
Support Product Owners in defining and evolving product roadmaps, prioritising enhancements, and shaping new capabilities based on business value, strategic priorities, and user feedback
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Data Science, UX, and IT teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood, accurately scoped, and successfully delivered
-
Drive product adoption through user testing, demonstrations, documentation, and change management activities — ensuring analytical products become genuinely embedded in day-to-day operational decision-making
-
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance business intelligence, improve user experience, and strengthen operational decision support through the smart application of analytics and AI
-
Contribute to strategic analytics products such as L&H Nexus, Operational Health Workbench, and AI-enabled solutions that connect business processes, data, and intelligence

You are energised by working in dynamic, cross-functional environments and are genuinely excited about the potential of AI and analytics to transform how organisations operate.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

-
Stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, including experience running workshops and building consensus across diverse, cross-functional teams
-
Understanding of AI and Generative AI concepts, with the ability to identify and articulate where these technologies can add value in an operational context
These are additional nice to haves:
-
Experience working in Agile delivery environments, with familiarity with tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
-
Background in Life & Health (re)insurance or financial services, providing context for the operational processes and data challenges in scope
-
Experience in change management or product adoption initiatives, helping organisations move from tool deployment to genuine behavioural change
