Automation Insights Intern (6 months)

About the Role
The future is digital and data-driven! As we support and accelerate our clients' efforts to automate their operations, the need for fast, smart insights is clear. Your role will be pivotal in helping design and develop an interactive dashboard to enable continuous monitoring for one of Swiss Re's digital business offerings:
- Gather and integrate data from multiple sources, including transaction details and system logs
- Identify key usage patterns, bottlenecks, and trends and provide actionable insights to improve accuracy, speed, and user adoption.
- Utilize tools like Tableau, Power BI, R or Python to build a user-friendly dashboard
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the dashboard meets likely needs and requirements
- Test the findings with targeted questions to selected clients, to understand commercial attractiveness
- Prepare and present the findings and recommendations for key stakeholders.
The internship will be for 6 months, starting in June 2025 in Zurich.

About You
We are looking for a brilliant critical thinker who is naturally detail-oriented and possesses strong interpersonal skills. Your flexibility and curiosity enable you to learn new skills quickly. Ideal candidates will have:
- Master student in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and self-starter demeanour.
- Proficiency in statistic software as well as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to dynamic insurance industry requirements.
- Team player who thrives in an international work environment.
- Reliable, open-minded, creative, and enthusiastic.
- Excellent oral and written English. Other languages are a plus.
