About the role 

 

 

The candite will be responsible to support the product go-to market strategy and industrialization to scale our Automotive Solutions products globally.

He/she will assist the team to identify new market trends and opportunities, assess the company’s product performance, and helps develop its long-term strategic plans for future product lines.

The key activities will include:

 

  • define the product strategy definition as well as assess new business models to increase the revenue streams;

  • support the development of new services by designing new use cases for the fleet insurance segment to shape the future of commercial auto insurance;

  • assess the existing company’s product performance and research the competitive landscape to find unserved needs and market opportunities;

  • Identify potential tech partners in the target market to complement the existing offering and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs;

  • work in synergy with the sales and marketing team to develop go-to market strategies to launch the new products by selecting potential partnerships, digital customer experience and new technical assets;

  • assist and support the business development and sales teams to promote the solutions to new clients and sell additional products or services to existing ones.

 

 

About the team 

 

Swiss Re P&C Solutions uses Swiss Re's risk expertise, strong capital base and new technology to help clients grow and improve profitability by developing innovative data driven and tech based solutions.

The Automotive & Mobility Solutions team develops new solutions to mobility players – be it insurer, car manufacturers, mobility provider or fleet. In this role you will be part of the product strategy team working closely with internal stakeholders and clients to find solutions to their mobility related insurance needs. 

The candidate will be based in Zurich and will benefit from being a core part of EMEA Solutions as well as integrated into the larger global Automotive and Mobility Solutions team.

 

About You 

 

 

 

  • Successfully completed university degree, preferably in Engineering or Business or equivalent

  • Strong interest in/motivation to learn about insurance/reinsurance and the automotive/mobility industry

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data to manage metrics, drive large scale process improvements, and implement business cases

  • Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, is a fast learner

  • Innovative, showing a high degree of own initiative

  • Team-player, willingness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit

  • Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global and multicultural environment, and to be mobile in terms of workplace or location if required

  • Aptitude to express yourself effectively in one-on-one conversations and small groups

  • Mature & self-confident; able to work with clients, business partners or senior colleagues

  • Capacity to readily adapt to a changing and dynamic environment

  • Proven expertise to work independently and proactively

  • Strong analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture

  • Excellent oral and written English skills; additional language skills advantageous

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
