Finance Reporting Associate - Working Student (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 20-40%)

About the Role

As a Working Student in our Finance Reporting team, you'll balance your academic studies with practical experience in financial reporting and analysis. You'll collaborate with experts across the organization while developing valuable skills in a flexible environment that supports your educational commitments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of quarterly financial reporting processes with various teams including Group Finance and regional finance teams
  • Assist in the analysis and explanation of financial performance compared to internal and external targets
  • Help with consolidation of financial inputs from various stakeholders

 

About the Team

We are a multinational team located in Zürich, working with specialists around the world. We have ownership of the consolidated L&H results with focus on external disclosures and internal management reporting, and we provide high-quality analysis to senior management for steering purposes.

 

About You

We're looking for a motivated student who can balance academic commitments with professional responsibilities. You're a great teammate, analytically minded with good organizational skills and can interpret financial data while managing your time effectively.

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Up to 2 years before finalising bachelor or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or similar field
  • Flair for numbers and able to deliver high quality work also under time pressure and to work independently
  • Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland

 

 

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Knowledge of financial reporting processes
  • Interest in insurance or reinsurance industry

 

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
