About the Role
As a Graphic Designer within our Media Services team, you'll create brand-compliant communication assets that represent Swiss Re's expertise and insights to the world. You'll work on high-visibility projects with real impact, balancing creative excellence with precise attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end design processes from initial briefing and scoping through layout, review cycles, and final delivery
- Create sophisticated layouts for financial and research reports that maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and structure
- Apply brand guidelines meticulously across various communication channels while ensuring visual coherence
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and incorporate feedback professionally
- Design selected marketing assets beyond core reporting, exercising sound creative judgment
- Maintain version control and organize complex document structures with precision
About the Team
Media Services – covering Graphic Design and Video Production – supports Swiss Re globally with brand-compliant content for all relevant channels. We are a collaborative Graphic Design team of around 10, working across a diverse portfolio with a strong focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
About You
You're a methodical designer who finds satisfaction in creating order from complexity. You have an eye for detail and take pride in producing polished, professional work that adheres to established standards while still communicating effectively. You're comfortable managing stakeholder relationships, receiving feedback constructively, and working within structured processes to deliver consistent results.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
- Formal education in graphic design and at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Experience managing versioning, review cycles and stakeholder input
- Service-oriented mindset with confidence in advising internal partners
- Fluency in English and German (required)
These are additional nice to haves:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Experience with content, publishing or reporting systems (e.g. Workiva, Censhare)
- Familiarity with financial, research or annual reporting
Candidates resident in Switzerland are preferred.
For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 78'000 CHF and 118'000 CHF for a full-time role.

- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
