Initiatives Manager (Hybrid, m/f/x/d, 80-100%)

About the Role
We are seeking an Initiatives Manager to support communications, people, and culture initiatives across our Asset Management team.
You will contribute to three key areas:
- Communications – shaping internal messaging with clarity, consistency, and impact
- Talent & Culture – supporting initiatives that foster a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing environment
- Projects – managing small to mid-scale initiatives aligned with our business priorities
- Our fast-paced, global environment requires adaptability, collaboration across time zones, and comfort using digital tools to engage and connect with colleagues. A background or interest in financial markets is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Engagement
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies aligned with business goals
- Create engaging content (e.g., newsletters, leadership updates, presentations)
- Support events such as town halls, team offsites, and leadership forums
- Use tools like SharePoint and MS Office to enhance global team communication
- Serve as a trusted communication partner to stakeholders across the business
Talent & Culture
- Contribute to initiatives that promote engagement, connectivity, and collaboration
- Support employee development and leadership engagement efforts
- Analyse engagement data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
- Use digital tools to enhance learning, networking, and cultural experiences
Project & Initiative Management
- Manage and support delivery of small to mid-sized cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with strategic priorities and track measurable outcomes.
- Provide operational and coordination support for key events and projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution.
About the Team
We are a small team responsible for department-wide Communications, Projects, and People & Culture topics. We closely collaborate with stakeholders across the department and work on topics which are broad and strategic, with senior management visibility. We also host the Financial Markets Programme, a junior talent pipeline program for investment professionals.
About You
- 3–5 years’ experience in communications, engagement, HR, project management, or related fields
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives efficiently
- Strong interest in people, culture, and organisational engagement
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global team environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Think Cell
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently
- Interest or experience in financial markets or asset management is a plus
