Intern Transactions Client Management (Hybrid, m/f/x/d, 50-100%, 3-6 months)

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the life and health (L&H) transactions team for Continental Europe (CE) for a period of 3-6 months to support us commercializing new transaction opportunities. About the Role
In joining the CE L&H transaction teams as an intern, you will gain an understanding of reinsurance and Swiss Re. You will have the ability to work with colleagues from Client Markets, Structured Solutions and Underwriting.
Key responsibilities:
- Working on marketing material and client pitches
- Supporting the origination of new opportunities through analysis of financial disclosures, client needs, competitor analysis and research market or client topics
- Collaborating with senior team members on concrete client opportunities and market initiatives
- Assisting during concrete transaction opportunities as part of a Deal Team
The internship will be for 3-6 months on a 3-5 days per week basis, allowing to work with us alongside your university studies.
About the Team
The transactions team is responsible for originating structured L&H reinsurance transactions across the region. We engage closely with life insurers, brokers, and consultants to provide Swiss Re's clients with a wide range of structured reinsurance solutions spanning biometric, behavioural and financial market risks. We are working in a good and concentrated atmosphere and at the same time have fun and care for each other. You will benefit from the deep industry experience of our team members and colleagues, who will coach and train you.
About You
- University studies in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business
- Strong interest for corporate finance topics
- You command excellent oral and written English skills; additional European language skills advantageous
- Presentation skills (PowerPoint)
- Creative and curious mind-set
- You have already shown your ability to work independently and feel comfortable in a demanding environment
- You are a team-player with an intercultural mindset, and contribute actively to the overall team spirit
