About the Role
This position is within L&H Solutions, which has recently undergone transformation. L&H Solutions was reintegrated into L&H Reinsurance Chief Underwriting Office (L&H Re We are looking for a forward-thinking colleague with strong strategic steering capabilities who actively participates in continuing to develop the optimal working model with the goal of producing high quality deliverables as efficiently as possible.
You will help shaping the strategy and steering L&H Solutions against our objectives by tracking the commercialization of our software Solutions and providing input to ensure informed decision making in the Management Team and for other internal key stakeholders.
Main responsibilities:
- Drive, support and monitor execution of key strategic and operational initiatives within L&H Solutions on a global basis to ensure achievement of annual targets
- Lead and support management reporting to senior executives
- Communicate to key internal and external stakeholders as well as townhall updates in close collaboration with L&H Solutions Management Team
- Supporting the regional business development teams in developing go-to-market strategies, product proposition evolution roadmaps, and providing relevant market intelligence
- Conceptualize an overall L&H Solutions strategy paper
- Implement a market intelligence approach and competitor analysis for (regional) business development and perform a (regional) client segmentation analysis
- Drive activities to strengthen relationships and foster collaboration with internal stakeholders and proactively communicate internally about recent success stories
About the Team
The Steering, Planning & Enabling team is a central team within L&H Solutions. The team comprises various functions from Steering & Strategy, Planning & Reporting to Business Development Enabling and Product Enabling. Our key mandate is to facilitate and support the end-to-end sales process of our software products from strategic alignment, client pipeline management, fee reporting and cost controlling to internal and external marketing. This gives us unique opportunities to oversee the big picture and collaborate with many colleagues across all regions: EMEA, Americas and APAC.
About You
- Successfully completed university degree, preferably in economics, finance, strategy or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in an internationally operating business, preferably in (re)insurance, banking, tech or equivalent industry
- Approaches problems with curiosity and open-mindedness, is a fast learner with can-do attitude
- Strong problem solving and project management skills
- Team-player, willingness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit
- Showing a high degree of own initiative, proven expertise to work independently and proactively
- Ability and enthusiasm to work in a global and multicultural environment
- Mature & self-confident, aptitude to express yourself effectively in one-on-one conversations and small groups, very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and can focus on details without losing track of the bigger picture
- Excellent oral and written English skills any other language is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
