About the role

Glad you’re interested! In this role, you will be at the center of iptiQ's business model as the guardian of the insurance product model. You are responsible to design and enhance iptiQ EMEA P&C's insurance product model as we continuously evolve our propositions with a scalable and pan-European approach. Creating a digital Terms & Condition structure connecting the platform along the entire value-chain will further enhance our scalability. In close collaboration with a wider cross-functional team, you will ensure that our business strategy and current business context is translated into our insurance proposition roadmap and implemented accordingly.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Drive the insurance proposition strategy in close collaboration with the Insurance Product Management team
  • Ensure the scalability of our innovative and customer centric insurance propositions, enabling differentiation towards partners and end-customers
  • Translate business needs and requirements into clear end-to-end insurance product design options, ensure clear decision making and encourage a consistent evolution of our scalable and modular insurance product model
  • Represent Insurance Product within the community of other Business Architects, Product Owners, Data, Engineering Manager and play a vital role in platform design reviews
  • Communicate openly and translate our insurance product model philosophy to your colleagues across the company

About the Team

The iptiQ EMEA Team consists of more than 400 team members, > 20 nationalities, and is spread across 8 countries. We put the consumers' needs to the core of what we do, strive to become a digital champion and believe in learning guided by data. We use the Swiss Re network to access powerful technologies and capabilities, combine it with local expertise and an innovative mind-set, constantly questioning current ways of offering insurance. Our aim is to drive the digitalization of insurance business in Europe, combining insurance know-how and e-commerce proficiencies, as well as the dynamic spirit of a start-up with the backing of Swiss Re.

This is what we will look for:

  • At least 5-10 years' experience working in multi-national organizations in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a digital insurance provider working in or closely collaboration with the Product Management organization where you showed passion for delivering amazing products to the customers
  • A combination of a strong analytical background and a strategic attitude enabling you to establish sharp and scalable frameworks through keeping the overview but also embracing the details where vital
  • You prioritize very commercially, with mid-term product and platform evolution in mind
  • An engaging personality, enjoy collaboration and comfortable in lateral leadership
  • University degree or higher education
  • Excellent command of English, any other language is a plus
