Product Owner - Analytics & AI Integrations

About the Role

 

As Product Owner for Analytics & AI Integrations, you'll be the vital bridge connecting business vision with technical execution. You'll orchestrate the seamless integration of cutting-edge analytics and AI models into our critical business applications, ensuring that data-driven insights flow effortlessly through user journeys and operational workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Implement product integration strategy - Partner with the Product Delivery Lead to define integration roadmaps and maintain transparency of dependencies, risks, and architectural direction
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, AI engineers, data specialists, and software engineers to design and execute integrations
  • Contribute to AI solutions design - Support the integration blueprint for embedding AI/ML models into user workflows, ensuring operational reliability and to unlock the expected business value
  • Support data transformation - Guide the transition of business applications from legacy Group Data Warehouse to modern Data Integration Hubs
  • Oversee AI lifecycle management - Coordinate the journey of AI products from experimentation to later stages of maturity through deployment, monitoring, quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Translate complex requirements - Collaborate with business partners to refine requirements with a focus on high-value integration outcomes
  • Create technical specifications - Produce clear, complete documentation for engineering teams to implement solutions
  • Apply Design Thinking - Shape user-centric workflows and solution concepts that deliver exceptional experiences
  • Provide operational support - Assist with defect resolution, incident troubleshooting, and release readiness for integrated components
  • Bridge communication gaps - Translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders and business needs for technical teams

 You'll join the Contract Administration, Technical Accounting & Claims delivery organization within D&T Reinsurance P&C—an established global team enabling scalable data use, automation, and innovative solutions. Our mission is to create resilient, efficient, and insight-driven capabilities that strengthen Swiss Re's business operations.

 

About You

 

You're a natural problem-solver who thrives in complex environments where business needs and technical possibilities intersect. With your analytical mindset and product-oriented approach, you can translate abstract business requirements into concrete technical deliverables. You're passionate about emerging technologies and have a genuine enthusiasm for how AI and modern data architectures can transform business operations.

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

 

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or product ownership in a technical environment
  • Strong understanding of data flows, analytics products, system integration concepts, IT infrastructure and technical architecture
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with AI engineers, data specialists, and software engineers
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical challenges and solutions to non[1]technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a talent for structuring complex topics
  • Experience working with agile delivery teams and tools such as Azure DevOps and Confluence
  • Adaptability to manage priorities and deliver results amid changing organizational objectives
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar field

 

These are additional nice to haves:

 

  • Experience in Re-/Insurance, particularly in Business Management, Contract Administration, Technical Accounting, or Claims
  • Exposure to AI/ML operationalization, model integration, or data engineering concepts
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture, APIs, and data integration hubs
  • Track record of identifying and implementing business process improvements

 

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between CHF 126,000 and CHF 188,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.

Eligibility may vary depending on the terms of Swiss Re policies and your employment contract.
