Project & Transformation Manager (Temporary - until December 2027) (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80-100%)

Join us in driving meaningful transformation initiatives at iptiQ. We're seeking a Project & Transformation Manager to help steer our organization through strategic changes.

About the Role

We are looking for a Project & Transformation Manager to join our Transformation team on a temporary contract until December 2027. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at the center of a complex business transition.

You will drive and coordinate critical transformation initiatives as iptiQ EMEA Life & Health transitions toward a lean, closed-book operating model. This means we are stopping new business in due time and focusing on managing existing insurance portfolios. In parallel, we are exploring M&A options.

As we navigate this phase, we act as responsible stewards for our customers, our partners, our people, and Swiss Re—ensuring stability today while protecting long-term value. In this role, you will help translate that ambition into execution.

The role offers direct exposure to the Leadership Team and requires a structured, hands-on project manager who can navigate complexity, drive execution, and bring clarity to ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic transformation initiatives, including partner offboarding and transaction support

  • Drive project planning, execution, and governance, ensuring delivery on time, in scope, and with clear accountability

  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across multiple markets and workstreams

  • Manage partner offboarding activities, ensuring operational readiness, customer continuity, and regulatory compliance

  • Support M&A-related activities (e.g., data preparation, due diligence coordination, execution project management)

  • Establish transparent reporting for senior leadership, including risks, dependencies, and decision points

  • Conduct data-driven analysis to support decision-making and identify value protection opportunities

  • Prepare high-quality executive materials for Leadership Team and board-level discussions

  • Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, challenging constructively and driving pragmatic solutions

About the Team

The Transformation team is a high-performing unit at the core of strategy execution. We operate across functions and markets, translating strategy into tangible outcomes.

We act as orchestrators of complex change, combining strong governance, hands-on delivery, and close stakeholder alignment to drive results in a fast-evolving environment.

About You

You are a structured, driven project manager who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You bring clarity where others see ambiguity and are comfortable operating with senior stakeholders.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • 3+ years in insurance, financial services, or management consulting

  • Proven track record in managing complex transformation or change initiatives

  • Strong project management toolkit (planning, risk management, stakeholder coordination, reporting)

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication, including senior leadership exposure

  • Ability to simplify complexity and drive clear, actionable outcomes

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision support

  • High-quality PowerPoint and Excel skills; familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot)

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Exposure to run-off environments, restructuring, or large-scale transformations

  • Basic understanding of M&A / portfolio transactions / due diligence processes

Why Join Us?
