Social Media Manager (m/f/x/d, Hybrid)


About the role   

 

Are you familiar with LinkedIn, YouTube and other social media channels? Do you spend much of your time on social media and are you also creative? Then we are looking for you! 

 

 As a part of our team, you will be responsible for managing Swiss Re's social media channels. Your responsibilities will include everything from posting and consulting to the further development of our channels and supporting social media paid efforts.  

Join us in enhancing our digital presence while contributing your creativity and expertise. 

 

About the role – Responsibilities 

 

  • Build, coordinate and run Swiss Re's presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, by using the capabilities of these platforms 
  • Supervise, plan and deliver content across platforms using scheduling tool (Hootsuite) 
  • Provide consultation on social media campaigns and ad hoc posts. 
  • Community management 
  • Use analytics data to further develop content and campaigns 
  • Keep up to date on trends, tools, applications and new technologies in the social media space 
  • Cultivate relationships and networks with partners within and outside of Group Communications

  • Proven experience in social media management and creative development, with a solid understanding of social media channels, trends, algorithms, and analytics. 
  • Strong skills in storytelling, writing, and editing for digital content, combined with a creative mindset and analytical abilities to understand data and build metrics for engagement and growth. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills. 
  • Strong team player with outstanding influencing and networking capabilities.
