Underwriting Assistant (Hybrid, m/f/x/d, 80-100%)

About the Role:

International Programs Service Delivery 

•    Drive international programs implementation activities and ensure quality, consistency and meaningful service delivery.

•    Facilitate transactional business and coordinate policy and invoice issuance process using our IT Tools with exposure to producing and local office duties.

•    Responsible for Pre-Quote/ Pre-Bind Processes, Service Exceptions, Issuance of endorsements between Producing Offices, our local Offices and Network Partners.

•    Supervise and report on operational program performance and address issues to ensure agreed service levels are kept within agreed tolerances, taking vital actions where required by early identification of bottlenecks.

•    Liaise with Technical Accounting teams to understand cash position across program portfolio and support provision of information and updates to the client.

•    Collaborate with Claims teams to ensure the efficient and timely exchange of information with the client.

•    Regular interaction with external customers (brokers/insureds).

 

Policy Administration 

•    Keep up to date information in systems and tools.

•    Prepare policies, certificates, invoices and all other contractual documentation such as endorsements.

•    Conduct initial deal analysis and prepare applicable account data including Tax calculations and follow-up outstanding premium positions.

•    Compile, sort, review and verify data accuracy using source documents, detect errors and initiate correction while following-up with customer or process owner regarding any inconsistencies found.

•    Collaborate on the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, systems and tools improvements and testing/piloting changes.

 

About the Team 
We are the CorSo Operations team based in Zurich and the role is supporting mainly the Property Underwriting Team in Switzerland with the key focus on service delivery and ensuring our clients have the appropriate level of support. We are acting as the key point of contact for our clients and internal network for policy issuance and implementation for International Insurance Programs and all other duties connected to a smooth handling.

 

About You 

•    Minimum of 3 years similar job experience and understanding of Insurance business in the Swiss Insurance market and Multinational Program Business in particular

•    Swiss Property Insurance Knowledge as well as Insurance Accounting principles

•    Ability to adapt to changes in tasks and priorities

•    Quality focused, attention to detail and solution oriented, ability to identify and report issues

•    Passionate about delivering excellent service to our customers and brokers

•    Goal-orientation and dedication to continuous learning

•    Team collaboration, ability to build and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural and cross functional environment

•    Proficiency in German and English, any other European language is a plus

•    Any further education is an advantage
